FAQ
Q: Do we have to have a ticket to enter?
A: No, Journey thru Christmas is a FREE event open to the public and there is no ticket necessary for admission. This is our gift to the community.
Q: Do we begin the Journey in the order we were registered?
A: Yes, when you register, you will be given a number that corresponds to the tour group you will travel with on your Journey.
Q: What will we do until our number is called?
A: Live entertainment such as, puppets and music will be provided for your enjoyment while you wait for your number to be called.
Q: Can we video or take pictures during the presentation?
A: We ask that no video or flash photography be taken during the Journey for the safety of our actors and animals as well as for our guests.
Q: Can we bring pets?
A: No, pets are not permitted except for service animals. Please leave your pets at home as there is no place for them to be kept while you are here.
Q: Is the Journey handicapped accessible?
A: Yes, The Journey is completely handicapped accessible. Wheelchairs are recommended for those who may have trouble walking the 30 minute tour.
Q: Are restrooms available?
A: Yes, Restrooms are available inside the Registration Building (main sanctuary) as well as at the end of your tour.
Q: How long is the Journey presentation?
A: When your Journey begins the guided walking tour is approximately 30 minutes.
Q: What time can we arrive to get in line?
A: Registration will begin at 6:00pm each night and guests may begin arriving on property at 5:30pm to form a line.
Q: Is it better to arrive early?
A: The Journey does fill up very quickly each night. It is better to arrive early to secure your place on a group tour.
Q: Can I bring a baby stroller?
A: Yes, Baby strollers are permitted, however due to the large tour groups you may want to carry small children. We ask that all strollers be operated by a competent adult.
Q: Do you have a baby changing station?
A: Yes, Baby changing stations are provided in all Ladies restrooms in the main building.
Q: Where should we park our car?
A: Off site parking will be provided and you will be directed to the lot. A marked shuttle van will bring you to Volusia County Baptist Church as well as return you to your vehicle. Security will be present at all parking areas.
Q: Do you have handicapped parking available?
A: Yes, Handicapped parking is available on site.
Q: What if we have to leave before our group number is called?
A: If you must leave before your number is called, please return your group number to the Registration desk.
Q: What if it rains?
A: Tours will resume as soon as weather permits.
